The shield depicts the northern star with a happy face under it symbolizing how happy everyone is to live that far north. Of course the crown still rules over everything. Lower on the shield is a plate of chilli because everyone loves chilli and a depiction of a man wearing a sombrero representing the desire of some to travel south and drink maitais.
